LuminaTO - 2008

The debut of Artech's Mobile Glass Studio was a huge success. Artech setup shop outside Distill Gallery in Toronto's Historic Distillery District for LuminaTO Festival. Terry Craig, Jennifer Wanless-Craig and friends entertained crowds of onlookers for three days making anything and everything out of glass including a giraffe, bass guitar, urns, glasses, rayguns and even a camera... with a film winder to boot (Glassblowers are digitally challenged). They made urns to pop popcorn and their kiln doubled as a campfire for roasting marshmallows and sausages. Here are a few pics from the event.
